Recent work

I believe in furniture that is meant to last a lifetime. That is why all of my furniture is made from solid wood with traditional joinery. My inspiration comes from a variety of places including New Orleans folk art, Swedish modern and Victorian. I use a mixture of tools from hand planes and chisels to routers and CO2 lasers to ensure that each piece is unique and of the highest quality.

I am fascinated by contrast in life and try represent that in my artistic work. Whether it is laser engraved photographs, accented with gold leaf or Mardi Gras doubloon jackets I love mixing mediums and techniques.

Maps

Travel is one of my favorite pastimes and I often get lost in the maps of my most beloved places. I use a CO2 laser to engrave maps in wood and cork board with each map being customizable to represent your own personal journey.
